  14. I'm getting a "Battery Backed-up clock not found" response from
  15. setclock opt load 
  16. in my startup-sequence.

  18. I figured that the battery needs to be replaced.
  19. I then proceeded to disconnect and turn my A500 over to get at the RAM 
  20. expansion, I found out that the board is a MicroBotics M501 RAM board.

  22. I guess that the blue thing...big and barrel-like is the battery it has:
  23. VARTA 3/60 DK
  24. written on it.

  26. The only thing is that it seems soldered in place...maybe it's just a tight 
  27. fit. I didn't want to play around too much...

  29. My question is...what's my next step?
  30. Do I buy a new board...seems silly and fruitless.

  32. Where can I find a new battery? What if the battery *is* soldered in place?

  34. Should I get an A501 or other better(?) RAM board?

  36. Any help is appreciated...would also prefer E-mail since I'm not on Usenet
