- The monitor may indeed be at fault, but it is not because of the border
- color. I am running BBlack and do not have the awful border on any of
- the screens.

- I have noticed this behavior on SVGA systems also and would guess that
- maybe the different frequencies are causing this effect. The dblNTSC
- and dblPAL modes are around 29kHz instead of 31kHz and might be the
- reason for the different levels of brightness.
