- I have spent the weekend attempting to hook a VT320 into the serial port and
- then use it as a "taskwindow" while someone else uses my Archimedes desktop.

- I thought maybe that piping the I/O might work.

- I got little closer. I wrote a program to do this by piping the output of
- each command but many commands will not work with the redirection. And
- errors when the command is types incorrectly appeared on the Archimedes not the
- remote terminal.

- Considering that some terminals get ditched working more are becoming available
- and I thought this would be a healthy addition.

- I get the feeling that this redirection can be achieved by running a prog
- multi-tasking on the Arch but it just seemed more difficult that I first
- envisaged.
