  11. I have spent the weekend attempting to hook a VT320 into the serial port and
  12. then use it as a "taskwindow" while someone else uses my Archimedes desktop.

  14. I thought maybe that piping the I/O might work.

  18. I got little closer.  I wrote a program to do this by piping the output of 
  19. each command but many commands will not work with the redirection.  And
  20. errors when the command is types incorrectly appeared on the Archimedes not the
  21. remote terminal.

  23. Considering that some terminals get ditched working more are becoming available
  24. and I thought this would be a healthy addition.

  26. I get the feeling that this redirection can be achieved by running a prog
  27. multi-tasking on the Arch but it just seemed more difficult that I first
  28. envisaged.

  30. Has anyone else tried this sort of thing.
