- That would be pretty ineffective, really. A lot of people have access to
- PAL duplication hardware (and software to derive the equations DESPITE
- the security bit). At least with the current method you have to go to
- the hassle of breaking open someone's dongle (and thus invalidating their
- warrenty and upgrade facility) and work out what has to be connected to
- what.
