  18. That would be pretty ineffective, really.  A lot of people  have  access to
  19. PAL duplication hardware  (and software to derive the equations DESPITE
  20. the security bit).  At least with the current method you  have to go to
  21. the hassle of breaking open someone's dongle (and thus invalidating their
  22. warrenty and upgrade facility) and work out what has to be connected to
  23. what.
