  17. I've got a PC talking to "the net" via SLIP.
  18. I've got an Amiga talking to the PC via SLIP.
  19. I've got an Archie talking to none of them.

  21. Now the PC has an ethernet card, but it's not currently supported by
  22. the UNIX I'm running (386BSD) so it's not really an option for now
  23. (though in the long term the idea is write one, stick an ethernet card
  24. in both the Amiga and the ARC and leave the internet SLIP link as the
  25. only serial stuff in the picture).  What I'd like in the Archie in the
  26. short term is some sort of SLIP solution that runs under RISCos.  I'm
  27. also interested in finding out about any halfway decent ethernet cards
  28. so that I can go to Phase II at some point (hopefully SOON).
