- More CD-ROM problems along a similar vein.
-
- We have a AppleCD SC which we can't get to go on our Acorn SCSI/CDFS card.
- Plugging it in, inserting a disk and then typing devices identifys itself
- as a Sony CDU-8001 rev 3.2i with the size of the disk inserted (about 535Mb
- for the Acorn Replay disc?).
-
- But when I click on CDFS from the desktop I get errors such as "Bad Drive",
- "Target Error - Illegal Request". Could this be the same problem as above?
- Has anyone managed to get an Apple CD-ROM drive to work with Acorn equiment?
- The model is quite old, a square box, but the newer Apple drives are long
- and thin, anyone know if the newer drives will work?
-
- Thanks,
-
- Graeme.
