- I have an A3k, RO3.1 and 2Meg. However it is very quickly becoming
- apparent that I really need a Hard Disc. A quick comparison of the
- Arc/PC mags show that the average Arc user seems to be ripped off.
-
- I would like to know if any users have successfully bought an Acorn/Oak
- or other SCSI/IDE interface and used a 'standard' pc SCSI/IDE drive.
- If so, could you mail me, telling me which card (does teh A3k have a
- hard disc interface ?), and drive, the size and cost.
-
- I am really looking at the 50-120Meg region, and not at hard cards. I
- would be willing to use an external drive and get a plynth of some kind.
-
- Also - which is better/more flexible of IDE and SCSI ?
-
-
-
- Please please let me know (I am a student => cashless)
-
- Thanx
- Bungle!!
