- I don't think that this is quite true.

- Of the three dealers that were local to me at the time (in SW London),
- two of them had Acorn announcements detailing the upgrade path on
- show. Full instructions were given on how to upgrade from any version
- of the eumlator, and how much it would cost. In addition to that, the
- dealer from whom I bought the emulator did a mailshot to all his registered
- users telling them about the upgrades. If only more dealers were like this....

- This dealer may well have been the exception, but Acorn did do a mailshot
- to all their dealers about the upgrades and presumably it was then up to
- the dealer to ensure that users were aware of it. If your local dealer didn't
- have the information on show, ask him why. If Acorn aren't getting proper
- support from their dealers, then it's not just the users who will suffer in the
- long run.
