  17. I agree about the printer cable, but not about dongles. What other
  18. technique do you suggest that they use to protect their investment?
  19. Copy protection? Awful. Embedded name/number? Ineffective. Through
  20. the use of dongles, they have probably sold 3? times as many copies
  21. of Impression as they would have done otherwise, which is how they
  22. have been able to continue improving it, as well as providing technical
  23. support which most people seem to find acceptable.
