- Hi, I'm in need for precise information on the ULAW format of sound
- files. I am attempting to create a basic speech recognition program
- on a SUN, so I am using .au files which use ULAW encoding. I am
- looking for a way to easily convert each sample to an integer that
- will be a representation of the amplitute of the sample.
-
- If anyone has information, or knows where it can be found, please e-mail
- me ASAP - avoid posting I guess, this is probably a FAQ that just
- happens not to be on the FAQ list!
-
- Anyway, Thanks in advance. Any help whatsoever would be greatly
- appreciated.
