- Hi all,
-
- I'm looking for a program that can analyze C code and produce an analysis of
- the written code. Technically, I'm looking for a program that can determine
- what relationships exist between functions in the code. For example, I fell
- upon some code where a function was passed a flag. that flag was never used
- in the function but was passed on to another function, and then another and
- was finally used 4 levels deep. I'm looking for something that will track
- down these types of programming mistakes. I think it can help me to program
- better and possibly help me in tracking down spurious bugs in other people's
- code (when I get my hands on it).
-
- Since I'm still a student, I'm looking for something in the shareware or
- freeware category. The more portable it is, the better (I'll be using it on
- SunOS, Irix, Linux and DOS - if it can handle it...).
-
- Thank you for any responses.
