  39. My understanding is that both the CIAC Bulletin and the Sun Security
  40. list announcement were worked on jointly by Sun and DOE CIAC staff and
  41. the result was disseminated separately to both communities of
  42. interest.  It is not a case of CIAC claiming credit for Sun's work, nor
  43. of Sun claiming credit for CIAC's.  In fact, the Sun bulletin
  44. acknowledges the efforts of a member of the CIAC staff, and
  45. correspondingly this CIAC bulletin cites Ken Pon's work and
  46. assistance.

  48. I receive the CIAC bulletins by e-mail and have begun posting them here
  49. since there seems to be some difficulty in getting them into
  50. comp.security.announce (where they belong).  Hopefully this will be
  51. solved in the future.
