- The XC versions (and this goes for all of their microcontrollers) are
- "eXperimental" releases, basically beta releases of the chip that haven't
- been fully tested--it's a "conditionally qualified" part. The MC releases
- are obviously fully functional. For all intents and purposes, they are the
- same.
