  16. VAXELN is used heavily at our experiment.  We have racks of VAXstations (55)
  17. running ELN doing data acquisition.

  19. The design philosophy (of ELN) is quite good.  The VMS hosted development
  20. environment is okay.  The future looked very good about a year ago with
  21. the announcement of DECelx.  Haven't heard/seen much since then.
