- NDIS really does work. I am using the Netmanage "Chameleon/NFS" package
- along with Digital PATHWORKS under Windows 3.1, with a Xircom Pocket
- Ethernet Adapter on my notebook. I can have simultaneous NFS mounts and
- PATHWORKS volumes mapped, use FTP, Telnet, DEC LAT (terminal service), NFT
- (like FTP), etc. Just like a real computer :-).
-
- I know, Macs, Unix systems, VMS machines and the like have always been able
- to do this, but what the hey... Maybe Novell will dump ODI and join the
- NDIS bandwagon.
-
- One question: Is the Packet to NDIS "converter" that was mentioned here
- compatible with Windows? Is it a TSR or what?
