- We're having a strange problem with Charon (working as an LPD server).
- Approximatly 25 printers are using Charon to print from a RS6000 to
- printers attached to our Novell Lan.
-
- On all of the printers we have BANNER turned OFF, FF turned ON, and TEXT
- using the xlate_list "standard_ff_text" given with CHARON 4.0.
-
- The problem is that BANNERS are being printed randomly on all the printers.
- Probably every 1 in 10. I've tried MAX_LPDS at 10,20,30. Is there a
- way to have CHARON default to NOBANNER (since I think not all the
- tag files are being modified properly). Any suggestions?
-
- Thanks!
