  13. Ok, these may be dumb questions, but ya gotta start somewhere ya know!

  15. I call via modem from my IBM/PC to the Vax at NJIT to get to the Internet.

  17. I want to be able to transfer files from my PC to my directory on the
  18. Vax.

  20. I am able to do this via Kermit.

  22. I would like to be able to use Ymodem or Zmodem.

  24. I did an Archie search and found plenty of FTP's where I can get Zmodem
  25. files.

  27. Here are the problems:

  29. Many of these FTP's are compressed with .Z or .tar
  30. I don't know how to uncompress them.

  32. The one's I've seen look like a bunch of pieces that I somehow have
  33. to compile to make them work.
  34. I have no idea how to do this.

  36. Is there somewhere I can just get a fully working Zmodem and FTP 
  37. it into my directory on the Vax and use it?
