- QVTNET ver. 3.03 has been working very well for me except for the SMTP
- mailer. Upon sending mail the console window dutifully informs me
- that "SMTP connection opened" but nothing further happens. The "busy"
- cursor remains on until I close the MAIL window... no mail is sent.
-
- A VAX running VAX/VMS ver V5.5 is my mail host, I have domain= properly
- set in QVTNET.INI, and the VAX daemon works OK if I send mail by
- TELNET connection to its SMTP port.
-
- I have played with adding CR.CR to the text, etc, but no success.
- The POP3 server works OK, including mail checks, but had the old
- RMT XMIT problem which I looked forward to the new QVTNET to solve
- with its SMTP usage.
-
- Any suggestions?
