  11. Here's the situation.  I have been trying to connect via hayes modem my PC to a HP
  12. Appollo 9000/847.  The 9000 will pick up a call from another HP Unix box and
  13. work fine (well at least at 2400 baud).  When I try to dial the HP box from
  14. my PC I get:

  22. I type the user id and return, but the system just seems to hang there.
  23. It probably has to do with the PC modem settings, since a remote HP 9000 was
  24. able to dial in fine.  What would the correct modem settung be?  Currently
  25. I am not setting any modem switches.
