- Here's the situation. I have been trying to connect via hayes modem my PC to a HP
- Appollo 9000/847. The 9000 will pick up a call from another HP Unix box and
- work fine (well at least at 2400 baud). When I try to dial the HP box from
- my PC I get:
-
- CONNECT 2400

- Welcome to blah blah blah
- login:
-
- I type the user id and return, but the system just seems to hang there.
- It probably has to do with the PC modem settings, since a remote HP 9000 was
- able to dial in fine. What would the correct modem settung be? Currently
- I am not setting any modem switches.
-
- PLEASE HELP....
