- I'm looking for ideas for connecting remote PC and MAC workstations
- to our TCP/IP LAN using regular dial-up phone lines. I've seen all
- the usual asynch access devices. I'm looking at the relatively hi
- bandwidth facilities such as ISDN. For example, so far I have
- found out about the IMAC ISDN bridge made by DigiBoard and the RLN
- asynch bridge (using hi speed modems and regular phone lines) made
- by DCA which uses the PPP protocol. Has anyone else found any
- interesting means of connecting remote offices or workstations to
- the LAN? Let's swap discoveries. Can We Talk? Please respond
- directly to my email address below. I will summarize all submitted
- responses if requested.
-
- Watch out. Telecommuting may be just around the bend for your
- company. Don't let it catch you asleep at the wheel.
-
- Thanks
- Steve
