- A quick question :-)
-
- We have a RS6000 running Ingres. There is a requirement to use Ingres'
- GQL product to allow graphical enquiries of the database from a PC
- running windows. This package insists on using Wollongong's Pathway as
- this product supports Winsock. As most of the PCs that will access the
- database already have LanWorkplace as their TCP/IP implementation, it
- would be nice if they could use this instead. My question, therefore,
- is this, is there a new release of LWP4DOS on the horizon that supports
- Winsock? or is there some other way of acheiving the same end result
- without having to junk LWP ( not really an option!).
