  14. We have a RS6000 running Ingres. There is a requirement to use Ingres'
  15. GQL product to allow graphical enquiries of the database from a PC
  16. running windows. This package insists on using Wollongong's Pathway as
  17. this product supports Winsock. As most of the PCs that will access the
  18. database already have LanWorkplace as their TCP/IP implementation, it
  19. would be nice if they could use this instead. My question, therefore,
  20. is this, is there a new release of LWP4DOS on the horizon that supports
  21. Winsock? or is there some other way of acheiving the same end result
  22. without having to junk LWP ( not really an option!).
