  11. I am currently writing some code to enable a C application to lookup MX
  12. records by calling res_mkquery() and res_send() under SCO ODT 2.0.  What I am
  13. seeing is that the first time we do it everything works as expected, but the
  14. second time the answer that comes back is much shorter and in the course of
  15. trying to parse it we dump core.

  17. The arguments to res_mkquery() and res_send() are the same both times.

  19. Has anyone else ever seen a problem like this?
