- If you're interested in the structure and protocols of the Internet or
- debugging Sun networks, plan to be at the Sun User Group Conference
- (San Jose Convention Center) on Monday, December 7, 1992. The
- Conference and Exhibition extends through Thursday.

- "The Internet and its Protocols" is one of nine tutorials currently
- scheduled for the first day of the Sun User Group Conference. Taught
- by William LeFebvre (Northwestern University), the course will use
- Douglas Comer's text "Internetworking with TCP/IP" and will cover
- important protocols, packet routing, client-server model of
- interaction and more.

- Concurrently, Smoot Carl-Mitchell (Texas Internet Consulting) will
- discuss "Sun Network Debugging" focusing on built-in network debugging
- tools. Other topics include diagnosing routing problems, nameservice
- problems, networking snooping with Ping and other tools, and broadcast
- storms on Ethernets.
