  14. If you're interested in the structure and protocols of the Internet or
  15. debugging Sun networks, plan to be at the Sun User Group Conference
  16. (San Jose Convention Center) on Monday, December 7, 1992.  The
  17. Conference and Exhibition extends through Thursday.

  19. "The Internet and its Protocols" is one of nine tutorials currently
  20. scheduled for the first day of the Sun User Group Conference. Taught
  21. by William LeFebvre (Northwestern University), the course will use
  22. Douglas Comer's text "Internetworking with TCP/IP" and will cover
  23. important protocols, packet routing, client-server model of
  24. interaction and more.

  26. Concurrently, Smoot Carl-Mitchell (Texas Internet Consulting) will
  27. discuss "Sun Network Debugging" focusing on built-in network debugging
  28. tools.  Other topics include diagnosing routing problems, nameservice
  29. problems, networking snooping with Ping and other tools, and broadcast
  30. storms on Ethernets.
