- Yeah, I understand this is the case. I kinda slopped around and
- assumed Rick didn't hand-roll RPC calls in mount, and do
- XDR overlays, etc.

- It's interesting code to view to see how one can eliminate
- data copies and such...

- Also, another correction (I think): Transarc's NFS->AFS translator
- is not an NFS implementation, but a state of mind. Perhaps a Transarc
- person will describe this functionality and the client proxy for
- Kerberos creds and remote operation of acl commands and others.

- P.S. I would've suggested going to comp.protocols.afs
- but I can't seem to find it... :-) Perhaps they'll slum
- long enough to expound on the translator features.
