- What microcode level is in the 3174? You must have the B series
- microcode to get transparent mode support; A or S series ucode
- won't support Kermit file transfers.

- You should also get the latest CMS Kermit from
- watsun.cc.columbia.edu. The 3708 situation is much improved, and
- that version is known to work with 3174/AEA with rev B ucode.
