  11. Okay, Here we go !
  12. I am trying to do a KERMIT transfer from CMS to a PC. (or a MAC or an AMIGA)
  13. This happens in either TEXT or BINARY mode.
  14. I have tried it with CMS in server mode also.
  15. CMS version 4.2.3 (Just got it today!)
  16. The connection is as follows - (please bear with a limited knowledge base)
  17.  
  18. IBM PS/2 Model 50 Connected thru a modem (1200baud 8-N-1)
  19. to a ZYPLEX BOX (black box to me)(see note)
  20. thru TCP/IP to
  21. CMS rel. 8.

  23. note: The ZYPLEX takes a dialup connection and performs a TELNET to the machine
  24. you want to get to. IE, dial-in ; get menu; select computer; connect to compute
  25. r.

  27. I have tried various settings for CMS and I can't communicate.
  28. The CMS kermit works fine through the trusty 7171 and a modem !
  29. If anyone has a similiar setup and has it working, please let me know.
