- This guy is just wrong. I haven't had experience with every type of
- router, but none that I know of do this. They HAVE to obtain their node
- number dynamically. Network numbers do have to be obtained statically
- for seed routers, but NOT the node numbers. For instance, I used to
- have more than ten routers that were seed routers for our local
- Ethertalk network. We are using Shiva and Wellfleet for our routers.
- Who are you using? I'd like to steer clear of these guys.
