- Hi -
- We have an application which requires VERY high data rate -capable
- tape drives... on the order of 12 megabytes per second or better.
- (yes: Twelve... continuous)
- We expect the interfacing will be VME, SCSI-2 or better.

- I am aware of the Ampex DST600, Sony DIR1000M and Schlumberger DV6210.

- I would appreciate vendor and user contact about any of the above, or from
- any other sources i'm not yet aware of.

- We expect to need two drives by next summer, with an eventual installation
- of eight or more over the next few years.
