- We have a Fujitsu M2322 (130MB SMD drive) that the following red status
- LEDs light up when I power it up:
-
- STS4
- STTG1
- STTG2
-
- (I think thats the names, I don't have the drive at hand right now).
- Ah, and the green RDY LED light up too after a while. I can't seem to
- talk to the drive though.
-
- (It is connected to a Xy450 SMD controller in a Sun2/120 running SunOS 4.0.3)
-
- I tried to look it up in the manual we have for the M2284 drive and although
- it isn't exactly the same it said something about "SEEK Errors" and something
- about "Over track" problems.
-
- Is this a fatal condition for the drive or is there anything I can do
- (without heavy hardware debugging) to fix it easily?
-
