- Faculty Positions in Computer Science

- Applications are invited for three faculty positions in computer science at the
- full professor, associate professor, and assistant professor levels. Although
- applicants in all areas of computer science will be considered, preference will
- be given to candidates whose research is related to the experimental,
- application, and system support areas of parallel and distributed computing,
- including programming languages, software engineering, artificial intelligence,
- distributed databases, and system performance. Other required and preferred
- qualifications are as follows:

- Professor, Associate Professor: Applicants must have a PhD in computer
- science or in a related area and must have a strong research record
- consistent with the level of their appointments, including publications and
- research funding. Experience in supervision of doctoral students is
- preferred. Responsibilities include research, teaching, direction of
- graduate students and program development.

- Assistant Professor: Applicants must have a PhD in computer science or in
- a related area and must demonstrate strong potential for excellence in
- research and teaching. Responsibilities include research, teaching,
- direction of graduate students and program development.

- Salaries for all positions are competitive. Applicants should submit a letter
