  15. I am posting this on behalf of a friend who doesn't have access to NEWS.
  16. He is supposed to do some research for a parallel file system. This is to 
  17. be used for a MIMD architecture where the nodes are connected by a perfect 
  18. shuffle network. They plan to use a whole bunch (~64) of cheap SCSI disks
  19. with the machine. This is a research project under development at the
  20. University of Karlsruhe, Germany ("Project Triton", I think). He has a few
  21. journal articles/conference papers on the parallel file system used by Intel
  22. iPSC hypercube architecture. However, he would like to have as many additional
  23. references as possible.

  25. So if any of you out there know about technical reports, journal articles,
  26. and conference papers dealing with parallel file systems, please let me know!
