- Of course anything I say is IMHO. Others may have different ideas... :)

- Usually very helpful. There are a few folks (myself being one) that read
- every day and post on anything we feel comptent enough to answer. :)

- Same as above, but more expensive and usually not quite as fast of a
- response.

- No experience with any of these. I've been more than happy with the support
- I've found on the usenet groups. Where else can you talk to the guys that
- write this stuff so easily? :)

- I would definately install the CSD for OS/2 right after installing the base
- package. It clears up a lot of the niggling little problems that had been
- floating around. You'll also _have_ to install some patches to get MSC to
- work under OS/2.
-
- If you want a really nice PM IDE to develop in, IBM's C Set/2 is nice.
- Alternatively, you could wait for Borland C++ for OS/2, which is rumored to
- be released to the general public RSN. (It's in the Early Experience Program
- now...basically a pay-to-beta-test thing.)

-
- Anything that tries to access the 386/486 debug registers directly will
- crash the system neatly. OS/2 just doesn't like that.
-
- You could avoid using hardware breakpoints, or you could use IPMD, the PM
- debugger that comes with either C Set or the Toolkit (don't remember which
- right off hand). It has the added advantage of allowing you to watch window
- messages ala Turbo Debugger fer Windoze.

- Never had the problem...How are you doing it? ALT-leftclick? Setting
- notebook? Command line?
-
- Good luck in your quest... :)
