- I appoligize if this is a FAQ, but I have just installed OS2 on my
- system. I was originally only to test it and then delete the partition.
- I am so pleased with it I will end up keeping it! I am surprised as to
- it's speed when running HPFS on a 42mg 28ms IDE drive. Maybe 16mg of
- RAM helps too, I don't know.
-
- Anyway, what do I need to do in order to install PC\TCP support for a
- token ring card? I have all the drivers etc that work under DOS (ie
- loaded in config.sys and auotexec.bat) but how do I put them in my OS2
- bootup?
-
- System note:
- DOS files are accessible as they lie in an extended partition. (HD 1)
- OS2 installed in extended partition (HPFS) on HD2
-
- Bootmanager chooses between DOS5 (primary on HD1) versus OS2 (see above)
-
- files that need to be loaded (under DOS) for token-ring
-
- ipcust.sys
- ibmtr.sys
- dxmc0mod.sys
- dxma0mod.sys
- ibmtr.exe
-
- All help much appreciated.

- (waiting for update release to support Win3.1 :) )
