- I am new to the OS/2 arena, so please be patient and excuse me if this
- sounds trivial.
-
- We purchased OS/2 with the intent of installing NetWare's Requestor and
- having multiple DOS windows available for running various tasks associated
- with our NetWare environment. So far, things have worked out well. We can
- open a multitude of DOS windows, each with its own private IPX session.
-
- However, in some of these windows, we would like to run various gateways
- which will require separate IP addresses. Questions:
-
- 1) How is an IP address associated with a particular NIC, i.e. do I need
- software for this, or is it a simple addition to the NET.CFG file (there
- are multiple NICs in this machine)?
-
- 2) How do I direct a given DOS session to utilize a particular NIC?
