- LaMail (IBM TCP/IP) has an option ('Notes'-'Archive') to archive mails. There
- are three points: 'Archive', 'Retrieve' and 'Configure'. In the 'Configure'
- window it is possible to specify the names of two OS/2-command-files (.CMD),
- one for archiving and one for retrieving mails. There are no samples and help
- texts available for this item. So I have following question:
-
- What does LaMail expect from these command files?
-
- It is no problem to find out the parameters LaMail gives the command files:
- + 'xx' Name of the origin-LaMail-mail-folder
- + 'xx@' Folder with mails to archieve
- + 'C:\TCPIP\LAMAIL\xx@' Path of the folder
- + 'D:\TCPIP\LAMAIL\xx@.NDX' Path of the indexfile for the folder
- + 'D:\TCPIP\LAMAIL' Path of LaMail-directory
-
- If the command-files give a empty pipe back to LaMail a errormessage occurs
- ('Can't read pipe, rc=1'). I tried to give back:
- + Name of the archive-file
- + '0'
- + '1'
- + 'OK'
- + The parameters listed above
- But everything happend was: 'The started process is in error'.
-
- What does LaMail want to read out of the pipe??????????????????????????????
-
- If you have any solution post it or mail it to me please.
