  12. LaMail (IBM TCP/IP) has an option ('Notes'-'Archive') to archive mails. There
  13. are three points: 'Archive', 'Retrieve' and 'Configure'. In the 'Configure'
  14. window it is possible to specify the names of two OS/2-command-files (.CMD),
  15. one for archiving and one for retrieving mails. There are no samples and help
  16. texts available for this item. So I have following question:

  18. What does LaMail expect from these command files?

  20. It is no problem to find out the parameters LaMail gives the command files:
  21.    + 'xx'                           Name of the origin-LaMail-mail-folder
  22.    + 'xx@'                          Folder with mails to archieve
  23.    + 'C:\TCPIP\LAMAIL\xx@'          Path of the folder
  24.    + 'D:\TCPIP\LAMAIL\xx@.NDX'      Path of the indexfile for the folder
  25.    + 'D:\TCPIP\LAMAIL'              Path of LaMail-directory
  26.  
  27. If the command-files give a empty pipe back to LaMail a errormessage occurs
  28. ('Can't read pipe, rc=1'). I tried to give back:
  29.    + Name of the archive-file
  30.    + '0'
  31.    + '1'
  32.    + 'OK'
  33.    + The parameters listed above
  34. But everything happend was: 'The started process is in error'.

  36. What does LaMail want to read out of the pipe??????????????????????????????
