- Hello. I recently put a Diamond SpeedStar 24X into my system, which I use
- for OS/2 and MS-DOS.
-
- The MS DOS section works fine, including the included Windows 24 bit drivers
- and such. Therefore, I know that the card works fine.
-
- The OS/2 PM also works fine, but if I call certain programs (such as WinOS,
- and certain picture viewers, some games, and other graphics intensive
- software), I get nothing but colorful snow on the monitor (IBM 8513).
- I can hit Ctrl-Esc to get a task list back in PM and kill the task. However,
- as it stands, I cannot run any Windows things on OS/2, along with several
- other graphics oriented programs.
- I think I have a driver problem. I have studied the online help extensively,
- but I do not know what to do about this problem. My old card, and Oak VGA
- w/ 512K, did not present these problems.
- If anyone knows what I am doing wrong, please let me know. Thanks.
