- Actually it is very easy to move the Desktop to another partition (per the
- Red Books). Just open up the appropriate drive and drag the Desktop to the
- partition where you want it. There is a caveat - some programs may look
- for the Desktop on the same partition as the rest of OS/2 (e.g. WPSBAK).

- By moving my Desktop to another partition and backing up the OS2*.INI files, I
- was able to reformat my system partition, install the Beta and then restore the
- Desktop with all my customization intact. NOT recommended - it is not
- guaranteed to work.
