  34. Actually it is very easy to move the Desktop to another partition (per the
  35. Red Books).  Just open up the appropriate drive and drag the Desktop to the
  36. partition where you want it.  There is a caveat - some programs may look
  37. for the Desktop on the same partition as the rest of OS/2 (e.g. WPSBAK).

  39. By moving my Desktop to another partition and backing up the OS2*.INI files, I
  40. was able to reformat my system partition, install the Beta and then restore the
  41. Desktop with all my customization intact.  NOT recommended - it is not  
  42. guaranteed to work.
