- Someone was asking how to get TCP/IP services to start up
- automatically and still end up in the Min.Win. Viewer instead
- of on the desktop. The following worked for me:
-
- 1. open the Template folder and the Startup folder
- 2. drag a Program object into the Startup folder
- 3. under 'Path and file name' in the Settings,
- C:\TCPIP\BIN\TCPSTART.CMD
- (or whatever drive and path you use)
- 4. reboot
-
- By default, the ICAT install program for TCP services uses
- the STARTUP.CMD file to auto-start tcp/ip; by using the
- Startup folder, the minimized viewer is already in place
- to receive the new process icons. Hope this helps out
- whoever was asking.
