  11. I am using a speedstar 24x and the 800x600 driver does not work
  12. well for me, has anybody gotten it to work? (this is the generic
  13. 800x600 driver from hobbes)  I do the svga off, 24xmode, svga on,
  14. install the driver, and it works.  However, the first time I
  15. use a vesa application (vpic, cview) the 800x600 and 1024x768
  16. modes will not display, then when I go back to WPS, the
  17. video loses sync.  Ths system is still out of sync if I reboot or
  18. power off and restart.  This also occurs if I boot dos and use a
  19. viewer on my dos partition (even though my 24xmode settings in DOS
  20. are identical to those in use in OS/2.  My screen refresh rates are
  21. all 60hz and under.  Do Tseng cards have this problem?
