- I am trying to get my CDROM working under OS/2. However, I am not quite
- ready to install it properly under OS/2, so I have been working on
- loading the drivers in a DOS window. Loading the CDROM involves one
- DEVICE= in CONFIG.SYS and one TSR (MSCDEX) loaded after booting.
-
- It works fine in a "DOS from drive A" window. However, when I load it
- in a normal DOS window, I get "Incorrect DOS version" when running MSCDEX.
- I understand that this is a common problem. Is there a common solution?
-
- Apparently, the DOS get version call (INT 21, AH=30) indicates
- DOS version 20.0. Would any of the usual "SETVERSION" programs allow
- MSCDEX to run?
