  20. I think you should have no problem provided you have hardware
  21. handshaking enabled and that you are using the buffered 16550AFN UART,
  22. as you describe.

  24. Incidently, IBM PS/2 systems now have DMA serial and parallel ports,
  25. which really help lift the load off the CPU.
