- Let me elaborate alittle more on the missing country.sys file
-
- I bought the future domain tmc-860 card to drive my sydos removable
- harddrive. My current system configuration is:
-
- Gateway 2000 386,33
- diamond speed star video
- 1.4,1.2 floppy
- 120 ide hard drive
- archive tape backup
- soundblaster
- ati 2400 internal modem
- Bootmanager 1meg
- c: 10meg primary (fat)
- d: 109meg extended (hpfs)
-
- All worked well with my segate st-01/02 card although I did not have access
- to my removable drive, hence I bought the future domain which ibm has drivers
- for. I installed the fd8xx.add as a BASDEV and ibmint13.i13 as recommended
- in the csd readme file. When I boot with the drive plugged into the card
- I get the message "can't find file d:\os2\system\country.sys please correct
- the problem and reboot." When I unplug the drive but the card is in I can
- boot but I get the message that fd8xx.add is ignored.
-
- Could my d: drive be remapped somehow to a different drive letter?
-
- Any suggestions would save me from pulling my hair out. Thanks!!!!
