  16. I was one of the folks who suspected Deskpic, since my growing INI file
  17. problem started at precisely the time I installed Deskpic. But:

  19. 1) Several long-time Deskpic users report no problem with INI files.
  20. 2) Several folks with INI problems are not using Deskpic.

  26. P.S.: I used some INI browsers to examine my OS2SYS.INI file. The entry
  27. called handles0 (or perhaps it was handles1) was responsible for most of
  28. the bloat. I don't know enough about INI structure to know what to look
  29. for or how to interpret this information.

  31. P.P.S.: After a reformat and reinstall, my INI files are growing at a
  32. much slower pace. I did not reinstall any screen blanker, although I'll
  33. probably take that risk shortly.
