  15. (1) 386 DX 25Mhz
  16. (2) SyQuest Removable 88Mb
  17. (3) Adaptec 1542B controler

  20. (A) I try installing OS/2 on HPFS.

  22. It works till the 9the disk ... then he complains about wrong disk ... but no
  23. wrong disk at all ... I tell him to ignore ... he continues without any
  24. problem.
  25. Then the BOOT ... brrr ... starting to show his screen in graphics OS2/OS2/etc
  26. ... then he stops telling me some kind of message like an exception error with
  27. QEMM.

  29. Ex: AX = ...   BX = ...  ES = ...

  31. Ok tried again ... 9th disk again being wrong ... boot didn't work.

  33. (B) Installing OS/2 with FAT.

  35. Well he doesn't complain anymore about 9th disk ? ... be does the installation
  36. in one run without any problem ... then I try the BOOT ... but what do I see
  37. ... just the same kind of ERROR I had booting up in HPFS.

  42. I thing the problem is
  43. (a) Adaptec  (Standard installation) / (Syquest standard ID 0 so bootable)
  44. (b) OS/2 using SCSI
  45. (c) Removability ? (I don't want to use this when running OS/2 so ?)

  47. Any help will be appreciated.
  48. Thankx ... someone who bought SyQuest to boot Linux / OS2 / BSD free / BSD and
  49. till now I can only run MSDOS ... F*CH SH*T *%&^ ... grrr
  50.
