  15.     The neverending modem saga under OS/2 continues!  I am running
  16. a modem with a 16450 (v.32 bis) under OS/2.  I was using TE/2 tonite
  17. and something happended which may give us some insight into my
  18. probelm.  Modem on Com 3.  Set the mode using the "mode" command, I
  19. think I have the syntax right.  loaded TE/2, started a session.  Modem
  20. dials OK.  Everything is fine.  Great.  Start donwloading a file.
  21. Everthing great.   Swap out.  Something funny happens.  OS/2 seems not
  22. to respond, but I realized that it is actually running VERY slowly.
  23. Can't quickly access anything.  Go back into TE/2.  Try to abort
  24. transfer but don't know how.  Wait.  TE/2 finally wakes up an realizes
  25. it has no file.  Te/2 froze on the exact block as when I switched out,
  26. and then went haywire. Seems it froze the system.  SO what is it,
  27. folks-- interrupt conflict?  I've had no other problems, and so long
  28. as I stay WITH the session, things are OK.

  30.     This is frustrating for me because I was able to BG transfer
  31. with Procomm + for Windoze perfectly well!  What's my problem now?
