  27. I've been having this problem with os/2 ever since I had it.  Lately it has
  28. gotten much worse so I've decided to ask for help.
  29.  
  30. Basically, whenever I switch from a dos session to the wps, the screen will
  31. start to redraw itself but then stop midway.  Usually the top of the screen
  32. will remain undrawn.  At this point the mouse works, downloads continue, 
  33. but I can't do anything.  Ctrl-ESC and Alt-ESC flush some buffers but thats
  34. about it.

  36. Two days ago, I had a pretty bad crash with the system just rebooting on me.
  37. I then had to do a CTRL-ALT-F1 to rebuild my desktop.  Since then I have had
  38. the screen lockup about once every hour.  NO FUN.

  40. Now the system had been working pretty well for the last couple of months.
  41. I suspect the problem may lie in my SVGA driver.  (Its the one I got from
  42. cardinal technologies and is the converted 1.3 version.)  I am using
  43. 1024x768 @ 256 colors.  Chkdsk reveals nothing on any  of my drives.
