- This problem is to do with VDMs only.. It means that if you attempt to open
- a file whose full name including path is greater than 32 bytes then 'DOS'
- incorrectly reports that the file couldn't be opened.

- Multi Edit 6.1 is one such app which suffers from this. There are rumours that
- this may be based to the RTL of the language that the app was written in but
- I'm not certain of this.

- We got around our problem with multi edit by simply accessing it via a false
- root on our server therefore dropping the filename to less than 32 chars.
