- Hi Everybody,
-
- I have a problem with installing OS/2 particularly with boot manager.
- The problem is that after installing the OS/2 and turning the machine
- on it takes about 15 minutes for the boot manager screen to come up
- completely. Every character takes about 1 to 2 minutes to appear.
- It takes about 20 minutes to get to the OS/2 desktop then everythingg
- runs as it should.
-
- I have installed OS/2 in the following partition formation on
- disk 1 (130Mb).
-
-
- 1 Meg Boot Manager (primary)
-
- 3 Meg Dos 5 (primary)
-
- 50 Meg Os/2 (primary) High performance
-
- 50 Meg HP (extended) drive d:
-
-
- My system's specification is as follows:
-
- 486 Dx /33
- 8 Meg Ram
- one 130 Mb Hard drive
- one 210 Mb Hard drive
-
- The instalation is done on the 130 Mb disk.
-
- I appreciate your help in advance.
