- Hi:
-
-
- I'm using a paradise card with 1MB of RAM on a 486 with 16MB of RAM. My problem
- is that the OS2 full screen session loses sync once I open a DOS full screen (or
- for that matter a WIN-OS2 full screen) session. It doesn't matter if I use SVGA
- ON or OFF. Once it loses sync, there is no way I can get it to work except
- rebooting. Once it loses sync, I would get a semi transparent white strip at the
- right hand side of my desktop (about 1/2" thick). The mouse pointer behaves real
- funny in that area. If I don't open a DOS session at all, no problem.
-
- Also, how can I set the refresh frequency for my video. I can see the screen
- being refreshed at a very slow rate; just like watching a program draw an
- interlaced pic. It puts a lot of strain on my eyes.
-
- Is there a solution for all these problems or should I consider buying a new
- video card ?
-
-
- Thanks.

- Max.
