- Subject: SVGA in DOS Full Screen
- Lines: 16
-
- I recently installed the generic 800x600x16 driver (yay!) and it works
- well. However, on my first start-up, I found that the screen wasn't
- centered. So, I used the controls on my NEC 3D to center the picture.
- Everything looks fine. However, now if I go to a DOS Full Screen and
- try to run something in 800x600x(anything), the screen isn't centered.
- Using the NEC controls works, but then messed up the WPS. As well, some
- programs (i.e. CSHOW) will show a little copy of WPS (corrupted a bit)
- in the upper right hand corner along with whatever it's supposed to be
- showing.
-
- Why would the WPS's 800x600 not use the same monitor mode as DOS? Why
- the messy little-WPS on SVGA screens in DOS? Would toying with
- SVGADATA.PMI fix this? If so, anyone know what to do?
-
- Thanks, Jeff
